I've got sunshine...

On a rainy day... (or so the song goes).  

I've been away from blogging for some weeks, but I have not forgotten!  Today, the Enchanted Mid-Atlantic is getting lashed by the winds and rains that are the periphery of Hurricane Joaquin.  No matter, I've got sunshine...

Feeling Blue!

Bucking convention here... 

And departing from the usual 'blue as a melancholy shade.'  How about blue as the soaring shade of wide-open sky on a brightly lit day?!? How about the depth and crush of blue velvet on your finger tips... How about blue and it's near cousin Teal, the shade of the ocean blue. How about the photos here taken in Old Ellicott City, Md. that show how distant blue can be from melancholy!
